Directions

Road Directions

Harry's Lookout is situated half way up Garrison Hill with the main entrance located at the top of Garrison Lane, just before the Garrison archway. Please note both Garrison Hill and and Garrison Lane are a little steep.

Public Transport Directions

You can travel to the Isles of Scilly and Harry's Lookout by plane, helicopter or boat.

Fly with Skybus from Land's End, Newquay and Exeter to the Isles of Scilly.

Flight's from Land's End take approximately 20 minutes, from Newquay half an hour and from Exeter 1 hour. The latter 2 destinations are seasonal and run from March until November.

Once you arrive at St Mary's Airport, the team from Paulger's Passenger Transport will be ready and waiting to take you and your luggage to Harry's Lookout - a short 5 minute journey.

You can also fly by helicopter from Penzance to the Isles of Scilly. Flights from Penzance take approximately 15 minutes.

The team from Heliport Shuttle will also be ready and waiting to take you and your luggage to Harry's Lookout - again, a short 5 minute journey.

The other way of travelling to the Isles of Scilly is by boat, onboard the Scillonian III.

The voyage normally takes 2 hours and 45 minutes from Penzance Harbour to St Mary's Harbour. The Scillonian operates between March and the end of October / beginning of November. The journey can take a little longer at times due to the tides on the islands.

Once you arrive on St Mary's quay, you can either take your bags with you or have them delivered by Island Carriers.

Harry's Lookout is halfway up Garrison Hill and just a 2 minute walk from St Mary's quay. See the description in the direction section on this page for further details.
