This former gun battery building sits within St Mary’s historic Garrison, one of the most beautiful and secluded locations on the Isles of Scilly. Nestled behind Victorian gun emplacements, it provides unrivalled sea views.

LIVING

Steval’s sitting room has a large picture window overlooking the off islands and makes a perfect place to relax at the end of a busy day, with its wood burner and comfortable sofas. For relaxed evenings in, there’s a TV, a DVD player, hi-fi and ample supply of DVDs, books and board games.

EATING

The dining kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker with double oven and ceramic hob, a fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, plus a wide selection of modern cookware, crockery, glassware and cookbooks.

SLEEPING

The cottage has two bedrooms: a double bedroom with a king size bed and a twin bedroom, both with comfortable beds and Egyptian cotton bed linen.

BATHING

A family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, a WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.

GARDEN

Steval’s large private garden offers unrivalled sea views and has various seating areas tucked amongst the Victorian gun emplacements. Garden furniture and a barbecue are also provided.
