Located in Church Street, Hugh Town, the flat is close to the shops, pubs, restaurants, and quay.  The building was originally constructed for a member of the famous, Scillonian,  ship-building family of Edwards, in the 1830’s.  

Top Deck - provides two person accommodation in the carefully converted second floor.  The room is relaxing, with a light and airy feel, sloping ceilings and characteristic beams.Thursday change-over day.

On entering the flat at first floor level, there is a flight of stairs  leading to a small landing with doors to the bedroom/lounge/dining room and to the shower room.  

The small shower room contains the toilet, wash basin and electric shower.  There is an electric heated towel rail, mirror and shaver point.

The ceiling, in the lounge/dining/bedroom, follows the roof line and exposes the large roof rafters, windows face north and south making the room light and airy.. The main room is equipped with a drop leaf dining table and chairs, two cottage style easy chairs with foot stool, a 5’ double bed with bedside cabinets and table lights.  The room lighting is via switches and dimmers..  There is a 24” flat screen television with Freesat-plus box, and a DVD player. Heating is provided by a fixed panel heater. Bedding is 100% cotton with high quality hollow fibre duvet and pillows. 

A small, separate kitchen is equipped with electric oven, electric ceramic hob,microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge.

For your convenience, there is an iron and ironing board, hairdryer and, if the summer is hot, a circulating fan.
