About
‘Cloudesley Shovell’ restaurant is named after the English naval officer, who met his fate in 1707 during one of the Scilly’s biggest shipping disasters. Shovell became a British hero and his legend lives on in Karma’s restaurant.
Respecting the island’s heritage for foraging and growing island produce, seasonal dishes are prepared from locally grown and ethically sourced food where possible. Take in the sea view and watch live cooking demonstrations in the hotels sub-tropical gardens, or dine inside and experience the elegance of the recently renovated nautical style restaurant, lounge and bar.
Karma St. Martin’s is privileged to have Head Chef Mike Potts in the kitchen. Since his arrival Karma St. Martin’s has been listed in the Michelin guide. Combining expert global cooking with freshly caught local seafood makes the menu at Karma St. Martin’s stand out from the rest. Karma St. Martin’s has won awards for being pet friendly, and you can even dine with your four legged friend with a menu dedicated to dogs!
After dinner why not relax in Karma St. Martin’s wine lounge, which hosts one of the South West’s first enomatic wine emotion machines.
