If you want to have an adventure out on the water and to explore the beauty of the islands from the sea, simply book your kayak and paddleboard hire online, then collect the equipment from Par Beach on St Martin's (we are just opposite Higher Town Quay).  We will provide all the equipment you’ll need to get out on the water  (including doggy life jackets!) you'll be given a full safety briefing and we'll use our local knowledge to help you get the most out of being on the water.  

There are three uninhabited Eastern Isles that you can land on to discover Neothlitic settlements, incredible wildlife or a deserted sandy beaches, that are just an easy 25 minutes kayak St Martin's.  We are the only watersprorts business who hire zones include the Eastern Isles.  You may also see Atlantic grey seals off the islands of Nornour and Ganilly, these inquisitive creatures sometimes like to follow kayakers!  There is a magical sandy bar, which is only exposed around the low water, just 15 minutes paddle from Par Beach. If you want to spend the day kayaking then the islands of Tean and Tresco are a little bit of a longer paddle but make for a great day out.  Don't forget to sign up for our Day Hire Deal and recieve a 15% discount from the Island Bakery. 

The clear waters off the shore of St Martin's make it a perfect location for paddleboarding. Mess around in the shallows off Par Beach or paddle past Old Quay and explore the ledges along the front of St Martin's.  Peering down into the water from your SUP you may see fish, crabs, anemones and beautiful beds of sea grass. We have paddle boards to suit all levels of experience.  Our two and four and person paddle boards are also great fun and let you share your SUP experience.    

We understand how important it is to protect the environemnt we operate in.  As members of the WiSe scheme, we can help you explore the stunning environment of Scilly with the minimal disturbance to wildlife. 

We have four hire zones which we will allocate to you to reflect your level of experience, the type of equipment you are hiring, the weather and sea conditions. Check out our stories on social media during the summer for daily hiring updates.  All hires are subject to weather and sea conditions and we reserve the right to cancel your booking if we consider conditions to be unsuitable.  In the event of this happening, we will do our best to rearrange your hire.  If you have any questions about hiring from us please get in touch.
