The Scilly 60 Race is the original event – an ultra marathon trail race with a difference. Racers will cover 60km over 5 islands, running every inch of coast path on every inhabited island making up the Isles of Scilly Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Often described as a 60km sprint, this race has you either racing for the lead, or racing against the cut off adds a lot of mind games to these quiet islands.

You’ll run the coastline of all five inhabited islands. This year due to tides the order of the islands are different –  St Mary’s, St Martin’s, Tresco, Bryher and St Agnes – before finishing back on St Mary’s for a final 5km. Each island has its own unique running experience, but all share the beauty.

The catch? You’ll transfer between the islands by ferry, and any runners not on the boat before the stated cut off time are left on the island and cut from the race. The cut offs are based on 7:30min/kms (12min/miles).
